Violet was someone that we loved and cherished. She was a girl who loved horse games. She was one of us. But she was also sadly a victim, secretly suffering all this time, and never got justice for any of it. But she was fighting, and she tried to get justice on her own. Violet Evergarden is special because it’s one of the first kyoani anime produced from a competition. It's not, though. Chuunibyou, Kyoukai no Kanata, ect. The competition is a way for Kyoani to recruit top aspiring mangaka/artists to join. Because even if an artist’s manga didn’t win, Kyoani’s review team can still determine if it’s Violet stands near the top (If not, THE top) as one of Anime’s best females of all time, no one is near as pure and thoughtful than Violet Evergarden. She’s beautiful, useful, and an amazing character overall; I would not be surprised if anyone claimed her as their Waifu, because I know that she’s part of MY Waifu collection ʕ ꈍᴥꈍʔ. Imbalanced relationships such as the one in Violet Evergarden sadly aren't too rare in manga/anime/LN. Hell, there is a vocabulary for the stuff. "Is this manga/anime a Bunny drop?". Funnily enough I encounter it more often in works based on LN;s, but that might be due to bias and me avoiding reading the stuff. In the novel, Violet lives with the Evergarden and spend her free days in the house or doing other things. The history of Taylor dosnt apear in the novel, just when she arrives at CH.
